Possibly my favourite of all time. A biography written about Bryce Courtenay’s son Damon and his battle with Haemophilia. Haemophilia is a disease whereby the blood is unable to clot, meaning that a small blow to the skin has the potential to cause horific bruising and internal bleeding. It is such a heartfelt, and at times frustrating book, however it is quite inspiring. Damon is such a down to earth and humble young man despite his predicament, seemingly accepting his lot in  life and aiming to make the most of his short stint. Everyone should read this book. Everyone.
