This weekend has ruled. Good hangs and good fun with good people.

The Weight played Friday night, followed by epic dancing!

Went to a rockabilly show Saturday night, then over the road to a little haunt called The Deli. Such a cool place. Ate some AMAZING pizza and played Snakes & Ladders. This is exactly the type of place I would like to open.. One day..

Sunday night Villa, Angela and SJ came round for dinner. I made Sweet potato gnocchi with mushroom and a burnt butter and thyme vinaigrette. Delicious. Forgot to take a photo.

Then we headed to The Secret Garden near Norwood. Story goes a rich couple bought the land way back when with the intention of building a house over looking the city. However, their plans got knocked back by the council. In any case, they went ahead and constructed a huge andvery beautiful garden, complete with waterfalls and caves, and the most breathtaking view of Adelaide city. Their plans have continued to be denied by the council, hence there is this amazing garden seemingly in the middle of nowhere. We lay on some rocks and watched the clouds move over the moon for what seemed to be several hours, before realising the heavy band of “fog” slowly covering the city and advancing toward us was actually rain. We then drove right across the other side of the city to Brighton to watch the waves whilst listening to Sigur Ros. Very ambient and relaxing.

All in all an excellent weekend.
